Shanon Lee attended two conferences in the last six weeks, the Raliance Media Summit and The Pulitzer Center’s Gender Lens Conference.
Lee was invited to attend the Raliance Media Summit for its inaugural conference in partnership with the Poynter Institute – Changing the landscape: A dialogue with journalists reporting on sexual violence at the Kaiser Family Foundation on May 9th in Washington, D.C. On June 3 & 4th Lee attended the Pulitzer Center’s Gender Lens Conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Journalists, editors, policy-makers, academics, and NGOs joined the Pulitzer Center in a conversation covering the most important issues of our time through a gender lens.
